The Division of Cardiovascular Critical Care is seeking a Project Manager to join their administrative team within the Department of Cardiology. The role involves providing administrative support to division leadership, including the Division Chief, and supporting the division's growth through strategic projects.
Responsibilities
- Manage small projects or phases of larger projects from initiation to closure, ensuring successful delivery.
- Consult with stakeholders, utilize project management tools, develop work plans, and prioritize tasks to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Create work products and deliverables independently, ensuring quality and timeliness.
- Analyze project data, summarize findings, and communicate results effectively. Manage regulatory and reporting activities related to projects.
- Manage communication and relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Prepare and deliver written and verbal communications. Facilitate discussions and keep the team informed.
- Support research and project management across all project phases, developing tools and processes as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent; Master’s preferred, in Healthcare Management, Science, Business Administration, or related fields.
- At least three years of relevant experience; experience managing multiple complex projects is preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple demands and projects, negotiate with department heads and external agencies.
- Proficiency in PC-based software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and data reporting applications.
- Experience leading quality or process improvement activities and conducting research with quantitative and qualitative analysis.
