Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited college with an Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assistant recognized by the APTA.
Current license and registration as a Physical Therapist Assistant in your state.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive treatment to patients under the supervision of a PT, adhering to state practice guidelines.
Assist the PT in identifying suitable patients for rehabilitation services.
Document patient progress accurately and promptly, ensuring PT co-signature.
Obtain necessary MD orders for treatments, recertifications, and discharges.
Complete all documentation requirements in accordance with state guidelines.
