FTE: Full Time, 0.8, 64.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)
Shift: Days
Pay: $38.72 - $58.08 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.
Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Certified Lymphedema Therapist to join our bustling outpatient clinic. In this role, you will evaluate and address the therapy needs of patients, particularly focusing on cancer and breast populations.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct and document initial and ongoing assessments of patient conditions.
- Create tailored plans of care based on identified issues, collaborating with patients and their families to ensure their involvement.
- Educate patients and family members about their challenges and guide them on the appropriate use of adaptive equipment and support resources.
- Oversee the discharge process for patients from therapy services, ensuring a smooth transition.
- Exercise critical thinking and decisive judgment while working with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
- Current State licensure as a Physical Therapist.
- Must hold a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; Master's or Doctorate degree is preferred.
- Certified Lymphedema Therapist is preferred.
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross must be obtained before the start date, and must remain valid for at least 60 days post-hire.
