Our Houston office is seeking a Litigation Associate with 35+ years of experience to join our dynamic team. This role places a special emphasis on complex commercial litigation, offering hands-on involvement from case inception through trial, including discovery, motion practice, mediation, and courtroom proceedings.

We are looking for a highly motivated attorney with a proven track record in litigation, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while taking on significant responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle cases from start to finish, including discovery, motion practice, mediation, and trial
• Lead evidentiary hearings, Temporary Injunction, and Temporary Restraining Order hearings
• Take the lead in depositions of fact and expert witnesses
• Act as lead counsel in mediations and court appearances
• Represent clients in both State and Federal courts

Requirements

• Active member in good standing with the Texas State Bar
• 3-5+ years of litigation experience with a regional, national, or highly regarded local firm
• Proven success in complex commercial litigation
• 3+ years of trial experience with courtroom leadership
• Strong legal writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
• High degree of maturity, strong interpersonal skills, and eagerness to grow
