LHH Recruitment in partnership with a prominent firm in NY is seeking a Real Estate Finance Paralegal. This role is a permanent position and it is fully onsite.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys in all phases of real estate finance transactions, including due diligence, title and survey review, and closing coordination
• Draft and revise closing checklists, closing binders, and related documentation
• Review and summarize loan documents, leases, and other real estate agreements
• Coordinate with title companies, lenders, and clients to facilitate smooth closings
• Manage post-closing activities, including document recording and file organization
• Maintain transaction timelines and ensure deadlines are met
• Support attorneys with research and preparation of legal materials

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of paralegal experience in a law firm, with a strong focus on real estate finance
• Familiarity with commercial loan documentation and closing procedures
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management systems
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Strongly preferred: (1) Bachelors degree, (2) Paralegal certificate or Associates degree in Paralegal Studies, or (3) Certified Legal Assistant (CLA) designation
