This opportunity is ideal for a scientifically trained attorney who thrives in a collaborative IP environment and seeks direct involvement with emerging technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft and prosecute patent applications before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
• Manage complex caseloads for clients in the chemical and related industries.
• Support due diligence efforts related to patent portfolios.
• Collaborate with multiple partners and clients on high-value assignments.
• Provide strategic patent counseling in emerging areas of chemistry and materials science.

Qualifications:

• 2–4 years of experience in patent law, particularly in chemistry-related inventions.
• Master’s or Ph.D. in chemistry, organic chemistry, polymer science, biochemistry, or related field.
• Registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
• Admitted to the state bar or eligible for prompt admission.
• Strong writing, analytical, and project management skills.
