Senior Paralegal, Contracts Specialist

The Senior Paralegal, Contracts Specialist will provide paralegal support, focusing on reviewing, drafting, and negotiating various contracts in support of PepsiCo's foods and beverages supply chain business teams. This role will report to the VP, Law Department, North America Supply Chain Legal.

Location: Purchase, New York or Plano, Texas (Hybrid work/home)

Responsibilities

1. Engage in contract review, drafting, negotiation, and counseling
2. Daily engagement and collaboration with internal business teams, including responding to inquiries regarding contracts and/or commercial disputes
3. Perform general contract lifecycle management activities, including template and clause development and organization
4. Support the North America Supply Chain legal team with other projects, as assigned

Compensation and Benefits

• The expected compensation range for this position is between $76,900 - $128,700.
• Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
• Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 5% of annual salary paid out annually.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience as a paralegal or legal assistant (in-house or at a law firm) working in the area of contract review, drafting and editing.
• Direct engagement with business clients or experience in direct contract negotiations, a plus
• Tech tools savvy and passion about finding efficiencies and developing process, a plus
• Highly organized, detail-oriented and proactive
• Superior oral, writing and proofreading skills
• Strong teamwork mentality
• Ability to communicate effectively, including directly with business teams
• Effective time management skills and ability to meet deadlines, including ability to work under pressure and multi-task
• Strong ability to work with minimum supervision and closely with business teams
• Superior organizational, prioritization and interpersonal skills
• Prior contracts experience in the manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, warehouse, fleet or transportation industry (or a strong interest in one of these areas), a plus!
