The ideal candidate will have a solid background in complex litigation, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft, proofread, and format legal documents including pleadings, discovery responses, motions, and correspondence
• File documents electronically in state and federal courts (e-filing experience required)
• Maintain case calendars, deadlines, and attorney schedules
• Coordinate depositions, client meetings, and other litigation-related activities
• Manage document production and organize case files
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, court staff, and vendors professionally and efficiently
• Handle administrative duties such as time entry, billing assistance, and expense reporting
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with firm procedures and court rules

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a litigation legal assistant, insurance defense and/or commercial litigation (strongly preferred)
• Proficient in MS Office Suite, legal document management systems, and court filing portals
• Strong knowledge of legal terminology, court procedures, and e-filing requirements
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work independently under tight deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• A team-oriented mindset with a positive, professional demeanor
