As a Delivery Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in delivering parts and products to our professional customers. Your safety and efficiency in handling deliveries are essential to our operations.
Compensation Pay Range:
$16.50 - $24.50 per hour. Actual pay will reflect local minimum wage laws, with additional performance-based premiums potentially available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver products.
- Utilize delivery management devices for processing deliveries, capturing signatures, and updating vehicle statuses.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform daily inspections.
- Ensure the security of vehicles, keys, and collected payments.
- Collect customer returns and assist with documentation.
- Communicate effectively with customers and management regarding any delivery issues.
- Report any vehicle maintenance needs immediately.
- Complete various retail duties, including stocking and merchandising, as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A legally required state driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Strong interpersonal skills and adaptability to changing situations.
- Ability to match alphanumeric sequences quickly.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with automotive parts is a plus.
- Bilingual abilities, particularly in Spanish, are highly desirable.
