Core Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to move and manage products efficiently.
- Engage in pallet picking and handling of goods.
Position: Warehouse Forklift Operator
Shift: Weekend Day Shift
Hours: 6:00am-6:30pm
Days: Fri, Sat, Sun
Pay: $21.10 per hour + $1.25 shift premium
Required Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating a forklift.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Pallet picking experience.

Role Purpose:
As a Warehouse Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for moving stock within our warehouse. This includes loading and unloading shipments of various sizes using equipment such as stand-up, sit-down, or clamp forklifts and electric pallet jacks. Our team-oriented environment is fast-paced and focused on safety. At DHL, you will play a crucial role in fulfilling customer needs every day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products using forklifts or power equipment for 80% of your shift.
- Prepare products for shipment, ensuring accuracy in quantities and types.
- Maintain records for inventory accuracy.
- Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards.
- Check accuracy of loads, ensuring stability and product integrity.
- Change equipment batteries or LP tanks when necessary.
- Keep the facility’s equipment and materials organized and clean.
- Assist with physical inventories as needed.
- Conduct daily inspections of equipment.
- Perform other assigned duties.
Required Education and Experience:
- Forklift operator certificate or completion of a forklift training program within the first 30 days of employment.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
- Six months of warehouse experience preferred.
- Six months of forklift operation experience preferred.
