The Critical Projects Implementation (CPI) team plays a vital role in managing construction activities within operational data center spaces. This team is dedicated to critical infrastructure improvement projects aimed at optimizing space, power, and cooling utilization in data centers globally, focusing on tasks beyond standard construction and regular maintenance.

We are currently seeking a passionate Data Center Project Manager to serve as a technical resource within Amazon's data centers. You will be part of a highly creative and efficient team, addressing the most intriguing challenges in designing, building, and operating Amazon's data center facilities. You will oversee and review various disciplines, including electrical, mechanical, controls, and architectural systems. A solid understanding of these systems is essential as you will identify areas for improvement and act on data provided from different teams and organizations.

The ideal candidate will be capable of designing, developing, and deploying innovative solutions to operational challenges. This role requires both independent contributions and the ability to collaborate within multi-disciplinary teams. Project scopes include improvements to electrical, mechanical, fire detection, and building automation systems.

The Project Manager will be accountable for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of specific projects, ensuring alignment with company strategy and objectives.
