Our client, a dedicated service provider, is seeking a Maintenance Worker to join their team. As a Maintenance Worker, you will be part of the facilities team supporting a therapeutic clinical environment. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Maintenance Worker
Location: Rhinebeck, NY
Pay Rate: $19/hour
Shift: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm
What's the Job?
- Perform basic maintenance and housekeeping tasks to preserve a therapeutic clinical environment.
- Conduct regular facility maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and masonry repairs.
- Assist with preventative and emergency maintenance of HVAC systems in collaboration with third-party vendors.
- Operate powered and non-powered tools and ground maintenance equipment.
- Handle custodial maintenance problems and assist with various agency needs as required.
What's Needed?
- Must possess a valid New York State Driver’s license with an acceptable driving history.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds without assistance.
- Competence in using a computer to manage maintenance tasks through an online ticketing system.
- Experience with basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and masonry tasks.
- Stellar time and attendance record; 1-2 years of experience preferred.
