Hours Per Week: 40

Schedule: Monday-Friday, Rotating Weekends, 8hr Rotating Day and Evening Shifts

Sign-on Bonus: Up to $20,000

SUMMARY:

As a Radiologic Imaging Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality radiographic services. You will work closely with radiologists to perform imaging procedures that ensure the comfort and safety of our patients while obtaining clear diagnostic images.

The Rochester Regional Health Imaging and Radiology teams are dedicated to delivering exceptional diagnostic and treatment imaging services to the communities across Western, Central, and Finger Lakes New York. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide radiographic imaging services to patients across various areas.

• Ensure timely and accurate service during unsupervised shifts.

• Document exams and related procedures accurately using the RIS/PACS system and in patient charts as necessary.

• Maintain cleanliness and proper stocking of rooms on a daily basis.

• Participate actively in hospital and departmental meetings and training sessions.

• Exhibit excellent customer service skills and professionalism in all interactions.

• Be available for on-call coverage in the Diagnostic Section of Radiology.

• Perform other duties as required to support the department's objectives.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Completion of a two-year college certificate or equivalent.

• NYS license in Radiologic Technology or NYS permit with an agreement to obtain licensure within six months of hire.

• If licensed after 2007, obtain American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Certification (ARRT) within one year of hire.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience as a Radiologic Technologist is preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

M - Medium Work - Requires exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or lifting negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; demands frequent walking, standing, or squatting.

$28.75 - $38.75
