Your Role and Responsibilities:

• Prepare and position patients accurately for diagnostic imaging procedures.
• Clearly explain the imaging processes to patients to ensure comfort and understanding.
• Adjust equipment controls to deliver precise imaging based on patient size and diagnostic needs.
• Implement effective radiation protection techniques to safeguard patients and staff.
• Conduct specialized and routine diagnostic radiology procedures effectively.
• Process and critically review images to ensure quality and correctness before they are sent for analysis.
• Perform routine maintenance on imaging equipment and address minor repairs promptly.
• Follow established protocols for scans and demonstrate proficiency in operating CT equipment.

Required Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED.
• Valid license or temporary permit to practice Diagnostic Radiology in New York.
• Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Radiology.
• Ability to work independently in a CT setting.

The hourly wage for this role ranges from $28.61 to $56.06, reflecting full-time employment. Compensation takes into account various factors including local labor markets, experience, and certifications.
