Ultrasound Imaging Specialist

About the Role: You will be responsible for delivering exceptional service, ensuring patient comfort, and conducting high-quality ultrasound exams. Your expertise will contribute to effective patient care while maintaining quality standards.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Perform all diagnostic ultrasound procedures competently, ensuring proper identification of anatomical orientation.
• Document patient histories, scan according to protocols, and maintain accurate logs and paperwork.
• Utilize sterile techniques and adhere to HIPAA regulations while maintaining cleanliness in the ultrasound suite.
• Assist in accreditation processes, maintain CPR certification, and observe patient vital signs during exams.
• Mentor new team members and contribute to a collaborative work environment.
• Ensure efficient outpatient operations by meeting deadlines and maintaining open communication with patients and healthcare professionals.

What We Are Looking For:

• A high school diploma or equivalent along with a formal education in Ultrasonic Technology.
• RDMS certification and at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong communication skills and proficiency with computerized systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

• An Associate or Bachelor’s degree in radiography, radiation therapy, or nuclear medicine.
• Additional experience as a General Radiologic Technologist.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Lifting and carrying items up to 50 pounds, including assisting patients.
• Visual acuity to 20/20 to operationalize equipment and review diagnostic films.

This is an ongoing, staff position with a competitive pay range of $28.27 to $50.48 per hour. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including holiday pay, medical and dental coverage, wellness programs, and a $10,000 sign-on bonus for external candidates.
