Job Details
Selectek has an immediate need for a Process Manager in the Cleveland, Ohio area with automotive and plating experience.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the coordination and organization of the plating manufacturing process/team members at assigned facility
- Coordinate set-up and process procedures
- Contact maintenance personnel for necessary equipment repairs
- Ensure production schedules and organize all functional activities to ensure compliance with cost, productivity and quality corporation standards
- Communicate daily plating production activities/improvements to the General Manager, Production Manager and/or Materials/Scheduling Manager/Supervisor
- Assist in the implementation of Continuous Improvement activities with all personnel
- Ensure all employees receive job appropriate training and understand all job tasks
- Manage the wastewater process
- Oversee daily plating production requirements for all plating lines and plating lab
- Oversee weekend tank maintenance
- Develop team to track plating scrap hourly
- Champion scrap improvement team
- Always promote an atmosphere of teamwork
- Ensure personal and associate awareness and understanding of ISO 14001 and IATF 16949 (includes ISO 9001) Standards, and company policies and procedures.
- During management system audit events, provide evidence in support of conformance with applicable standards and procedures and participate in corrective action activities as necessary.
- Improve knowledge and troubleshooting skills of the plating department
- Improve chemistry trending CP
- Create continuous improvement culture in the plating process
- Manage department budget and support capital planning for plating line
- Oversee rack builds
- Train and develop plating process supervisors and techs to create a succession planning
- Support program launches
- Track chemical cost per square foot and develop continuous improvement actions
- Managing chemical inventory
- Issuing requisitions
- 3-5 years direct experience with plating processing in an automotive manufacturing environment
- Bachelor's degree
- Supervisory experience
Pay range: $100,000 - $120,000 (Senior Process Manager)
Location of job: Cleveland, OH
Hours and shift: Monday - Friday, 8AM-5PM
Work from home/remote: No
Overtime expected: No
Travel: No
Work attire: Uniform and steel toed boots
