Position Overview:
As a District Manager Trainee, you will engage in a 16-week hands-on training program that will equip you with the essential skills to manage multiple accounts in your territory effectively. Your responsibilities will include:
- Management: Overseeing housekeeping, laundry, and personal clothing services while ensuring adherence to policies and quality standards.
- Team Leadership: Guiding and developing staff to meet Environmental Services quality standards and customer service expectations.
- Reporting & Communication: Maintaining accurate records, addressing payroll issues, and serving as a liaison between managers and staff.
- Safety: Implementing safe practices and procedures to maintain a clean and sanitary environment.
- Customer Experience: Ensuring positive interactions with residents and staff to enhance overall satisfaction.
- Travel: Be prepared for up to 75% travel for account visits and regional engagements.
Qualifications:
- Positive attitude with an ability to follow detailed instructions.
- Bachelor's degree in management or a related field preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required.
- Two years of experience in Environmental Services within healthcare and personnel supervision is ideal.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and proficiency in budget management.
- Basic computer skills and willingness to learn.
- Must be able to lift a maximum of 50 pounds, and work in environments involving cleaning products.
- Willingness to relocate to your assigned market.
