Job Description

The mission of the Digital Adoption & Client Experience Team is to create compelling, consistent, and differentiated experiences that deliver sustainable value through integrated and personalized support. The Digital Channel Consultant will work with advisors, client associates, OMT and Merrill clients to increase awareness and adoption of all Merrill platforms and capabilities.

The Merrill Digital Channel Consultant will be responsible to help educate on all proprietary technology platforms by creating impactful interactions that increase awareness, drive adoption, and position the technology as a valuable resource to increase satisfaction, capacity and growth. The key objective for the role is to optimize the use of varied training vehicles across multiple channels with the appropriate frequency to build and demonstrate product offerings to the applicable audiences.

Responsibilities

• Develops a deep understanding of the Advisor & Mobile Platforms, the Client Online and Mobile Platforms and supporting technology product offerings. (i.e. CEW, Salesforce, MyMerrill, Mobile and Advisor Social Collaboration tools, and more…)
• Builds and maintains strong relationships internally and with the user population (including but not limited to WM and Private Wealth Leadership teams, Advisor teams, Platform and Capabilities business partners and others)
• Meets with advisor teams to perform digital book reviews; Provides a customized strategy to increase utilization of digital tools to improve efficiency and support growth
• Creates and updates -reference materials, including scripts, tip sheets, and FAQs on new and existing technology platforms.
• Schedules and facilitates training visits at the branch locations – for their respective Division. Onsite training visits will be delivered in classroom format and/or one-to-one sessions
• Delivers virtual training sessions via scheduled online learning portal
• Creates on-demand training sessions for use on the learning portal
• Provides quantitative and qualitative training metrics (quantitative metrics include date of training session, location of training session, numbers of users trained, and topics discussed, and progress measurement; qualitative metrics include user questions raised, user questions answered, and user questions unanswered)
• Leverages the issue management escalation process according to a pre-established process
• Measures success by increasing digital adoption

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in Wealth Management
• Comfortable with technology
• Exceptional time management, verbal and written communication skills
• Desire to be client facing
• Desire to grow and learn
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Travel required - 50 - 75% expected; within assigned division (office/branch)
• Ability to influence and meet associate where they are in their digital journey

Desired Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Experience in technology-oriented roles

Minimum Education Requirement: High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent

Pay and benefits information

Pay range $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set. Discretionary incentive eligible This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
