Delivery Operations Specialist

Compensation Pay Range: $15.50 - $18.00

The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes annual and quarterly performance bonuses, or premiums that may vary based on specific circumstances. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

The Delivery Operations Specialist is responsible for efficiently operating and maintaining store vehicles to deliver parts and products to our valued customers. This role involves collecting payments for C.O.D. deliveries and processing customer returns. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply!

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate company vehicles to deliver products to customers.
• Utilize delivery fleet management hand-held devices to process deliveries and capture customer signatures.
• Ensure vehicles are kept clean, maintained, and ready for daily inspections.
• Safeguard delivery vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet credit cards, hand-held devices, and collected payments at all times.
• Handle customer returns, completing driver return slips as necessary.
• Effectively communicate customer needs and any issues to store management.
• Promptly report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or damages to the store manager.
• Ensure fuel tanks are filled and secure vehicles at the end of the day.
• Clock in/out according to company policies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned, which may include customer service tasks, merchandising, and stocking responsibilities.
• Assist customers and serve as a cashier during busy times.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Adaptability to changing delivery situations.
• A valid state driver’s license that meets company eligibility requirements.

Desired:

• Familiarity with automotive parts.
• Experience operating other light store equipment.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).
