Data Center Project Manager for Critical Projects

The Critical Projects Implementation (CPI) team is dedicated to managing construction activities within operational data center spaces, focusing on critical infrastructure projects aimed at optimizing space, power, and cooling utilization worldwide. These projects extend beyond standard construction delivery and routine maintenance tasks.

We are currently on the lookout for a Data Center Project Manager to act as a technical resource within Amazon data centers. You will be part of a creative and efficient team tackling complex challenges in the design, construction, and operation of Amazon’s data center facilities. As the Project Manager, your responsibilities will encompass project oversight across various disciplines, including electrical, mechanical, controls, and architectural aspects. A comprehensive understanding of these systems is essential for identifying improvement opportunities and acting on data received from other teams and organizations.

The ideal candidate will be skilled in designing, developing, and deploying innovative solutions to overcome operational challenges. This role requires both independent contributions and collaboration within multi-disciplinary teams. Projects you will manage include, but are not limited to, enhancements in electrical systems, mechanical infrastructure, fire detection, and building automation systems. You will ensure that projects are directed, coordinated, implemented, executed, controlled, and completed in alignment with company strategies, commitments, and goals.
