As a Credentialed Trainer, you will play a critical role in continuing the healing mission of Deaconess.
Job Overview
This position is responsible for developing content/workflow expertise for Ambulatory Epic application(s). Credentialed Trainers (CTs) focus on the provision of end user training in the classroom, via live classroom training and/or in 1:1 settings to end users working in Deaconess Clinic. Additional focus areas include rounding, customer communication and optimization activities. The CT documents issues identified during training and provides additional support with a focus on efficiency and acceptance. The Ambulatory CT collaborates with DC leadership to train and support end-users with adoption of Practice Transformation and promoting interoperability metric workflows.
Certifications/Licenses
- RN licensure preferred
- Associates or Bachelors Degree, Professional Licensure or Health Profession Certification Required
- Education and experience in a health related or adult education field preferred.
- Epic Proficiency certification within 1 year
- Previous experience documenting in Epic's electron medical record preferred
- Evidence of previous experience as a trainer and/or mentor preferred
- Previous experience with document preparation such as writing user guides, grant applications, business plans preferred
