The expected salary range for this position is $112,500 to $125,000, depending on experience, along with a rich benefits package that includes bonuses and 401(k) contributions.
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
The Senior Turbine Equipment Specialist performs advanced technical and engineering problem-solving tasks that support nuclear plant turbine generator operations. You will take on critical technical decision-making and troubleshooting roles, utilizing your extensive knowledge in functional disciplines and practical applications while ensuring compliance with industry codes and regulations. You will promote procedural adherence, human performance fundamentals, and continuous improvement through coaching and mentoring.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Offer expert technical guidance to develop, manage, and implement engineering analyses, activities, and programs.
- Provide technical consultation to proactively identify and resolve equipment and system challenges.
- Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of work, maintaining proper configuration management while adhering to standard design criteria and regulations.
- Conduct independent research, reviews, and analyses that support various technical projects and programs.
- Propose new equipment, concepts, and methods to enhance performance, streamline processes, reduce costs, rectify design flaws, and ensure compliance with code updates.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- B.S. in Engineering or an equivalent technical degree with 6 years of relevant experience, or
- Associates Degree with 8 years of relevant experience, or
- High School diploma with 10 years of relevant experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Professional Engineer Registration.
- Advanced technical degree or related coursework.
