Civil Engineer
Are you tired of navigating through Nashville traffic? This opportunity might be perfect for you. Stay south of Franklin and avoid the hassle of I-65 traffic. We are seeking a full-time Civil Engineer specializing in Civil Site Design. The ideal candidate will have a professional degree in Civil Engineering and at least 2 years of experience in land development. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, possesses strong verbal and communication skills, and is eager to work on a diverse range of projects.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate on land development projects.
- Perform detailed stormwater design and calculations.
- Produce design and construction plans.
- Manage project submittals with attention to detail.
- Contribute to the growth and success of our family-owned business by taking initiative and ensuring project success.
Essential Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in land development.
- Proficient in Civil 3D software.
- Experience in stormwater design and calculation.
- Strong technical ability in design and construction plan production.
- Excellent verbal and communication skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in subdivision design and grading.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Experience with site development.
Work Environment
Work south of Nashville to avoid traffic. Enjoy the flexibility of working from home when needed. Benefit from a simple IRA with a 2% company match. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of NA, Tennessee.
The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $45.67/hr.
