The Civil Structural Engineer position exists at our Byron Clean Energy facility located in Byron, IL.

Salary Ranges:
- Entry Level: $85,000
- Mid-Level: $89,000 - $110,000
- Senior Level: $117,000 - $143,000
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
This role is responsible for executing engineering and technical tasks, under general supervision, to support nuclear plant operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct engineering and technical tasks as assigned, applying essential engineering principles.
- Ensure all engineering outputs comply with relevant safety analyses, industry codes, engineering specifications, and regulatory requirements.
- Partake in the development and implementation of effective processes that align with established policies.
- Propose improvements to standard processes and procedures for enhanced methodology.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Entry Level: B.S. in Engineering (New Graduates eligible)
- Mid-Level: B.S. in Engineering and 2+ years of nuclear or related engineering experience
- Senior Level: B.S. in Engineering or Licensed Professional Engineer with 5+ years of engineering experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certification
- Strong understanding of engineering techniques and applicable fundamental functions.
