nAECOM is hosting an exclusive, invitation-only hiring event in Los Angeles, California October 29-30. This is a great opportunity to learn and connect with AECOM for career opportunities starting Spring/Summer 2026.
nThe event kicks off on Wednesday evening with a networking mixer from 6-8 pm , where you can hear from AECOM staff about various projects, career paths, and the company itself. You’ll also have the chance to meet other students, recent graduates, and AECOM professionals from across our business lines.
nOn Thursday, interviews will take place at either our Los Angeles or Orange office. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about and connect with AECOM for early career opportunities.

nAECOM is seeking motivated Entry-Level Civil Engineer to join our growing Water/Wastewater group. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career engineer to gain hands-on experience in planning, design, and construction support for water and wastewater infrastructure projects with ENRs #1 ranked water engineering firm .
nResponsibilities

- Assist in the design and analysis of water distribution, wastewater collection, and treatment systems. n
- Prepare engineering drawings, technical reports, and construction documents under supervision of senior engineers. n
- Conduct hydraulic modeling, pipeline alignment studies, and cost estimates. n
- Support fieldwork, including site visits, data collection, and construction observation. n
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and CAD/BIM designers to deliver high-quality solutions. n
- Stay current on industry standards, codes, and sustainable engineering practices. n

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or related field) or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. n
- Due to the nature of work, US Citizenship is required. n
