Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM-5 PM

Location: Onsite - 8327 W. ATLANTIC BLVD CORAL SPRINGS, FL 33071

Primary Responsibilities:

Consistently exhibits behavior and communication skills that demonstrate commitment to superior customer service, including quality and care and concern with every internal and external customer
Represents the Company in a professional manner, following all company policies and procedures
Uses, protects, and discloses patients protected health information (PHI) only in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards
Accurately and professionally handling all front desk operations including answering phones, greeting patients, scheduling of all appointments, balancing daily collections, addressing routine inquiries, and forwarding non-routine requests to appropriate personnel
Assists with the inventory and maintenance of business office supplies and the completion of business office reports
Works daily reports, incomplete encounters, No Show reports, and other designated administrative reports according to office procedures
Intake and Registration of Patients
Phone and task support role for providers
Patient Portal Management
Performs clerical duties as directed
Performs other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
1+ years of receptionist or customer service experience
Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft applications, such as Excel Spreadsheets, Outlook, and Word documents
Ability to type 50-60 wpm
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time locally for coverage in other offices
Bilingual Spanish

Preferred Qualifications:

Experienced with EMR system: eCW

The salary range for this role is $16.00 to $28.85 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
