In our 1:1 ABA setting, you'll work hands-on with children aged 18 months to 8 years, employing ethical, evidence-based ABA techniques in a nurturing center environment. What You'll Do as an Autism Therapy Specialist:
- Implement one-on-one ABA therapy to assist children with Autism in reaching their full potential. You will interpret treatment plans, apply therapeutic strategies, collect data, document sessions, and incorporate feedback from supervisors during observation.
- Facilitate developmental growth for early childhood children through engaging therapeutic activities designed to be fun and educational.
- Collaborate with a dedicated team to ensure effective treatment, maintain safety, and foster a joyful working environment.
- Engage with children through playful activities, such as running, dancing, reading, or imaginative play—whatever keeps the energy and happiness alive!
- Communicate effectively with families, peers, and supervisors to coordinate activities, celebrate achievements, and address individual needs.
Job Requirements:
- Physically capable of lifting children up to 30 lbs, bending, squatting, and moving quickly to stay engaged with children and maintain a tidy environment.
- Maintain a therapeutic environment ensuring play spaces are well-organized and conducive to stimulating and enjoyable experiences for the children.
- Ability to multitask to manage multiple activities, decisions, or conversations while prioritizing safety.
- Work cohesively with teams for center-wide collaboration, which may include travel to nearby centers.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Bachelor's Degree Required.
Complete the RBT certification process within 20 days of employment, passing a 40-hour training curriculum, hands-on competency assessment, and the board's exam.

Pay Ranges Based on Experience & Education:
Masters: $22.00 - $28.00
For entry-level candidates, your first raise is earned upon certification as RBT, typically within 21 days.
Experience in these areas is beneficial!
- Childcare roles (nanny, babysitter, preschool teacher, tutor, etc.)
- Mental health professionals and advocates (QMHP, behavioral health technicians)
- Camp counselors, volunteers, or Sunday school teachers
- Degrees in teaching, special education, sociology, psychology, or related fields are preferred.
- Experience as paraprofessionals, direct support, or life skills assistants.
- A true passion for working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
- A desire to be part of a caring, team-oriented culture.
