Job Details
Compensation Pay Range: $24.35 - $26.85 per hour. The actual hourly rate will meet or exceed the minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation may include annual and quarterly performance bonuses, with premiums based on specific circumstances such as schedule and facility needs.
As a Materials Handler - Returns Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our warehouse operations by efficiently managing inbound and outbound merchandise. Your responsibilities will include:
- Unloading various types of merchandise and placing them in designated staging areas.
- Verifying unloads by matching merchandise with the driver's manifest.
- Assisting in wrapping, loading, and shipping outbound merchandise.
- Scanning and inspecting returned items, and sorting them appropriately.
- Maintaining neat and organized staging areas for rebuilt cores and warranty items.
- Preparing merchandise for shipment, ensuring accuracy with inventory and cut-off procedures.
- Following proper procedures for handling hazardous materials and ensuring compliance with company policy.
- Coordinating warranty processes with vendor representatives and ensuring accurate documentation.
- Processing and maintaining battery rotations and related reports.
- Performing monthly inventory checks and ensuring all items are accounted for.

Skills and Qualifications:
- Ability to read and match numerical and alphabetical characters quickly and accurately.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Basic computer skills; advanced computer skills preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is desired.
- Familiarity with automotive warehouse operations is a plus.
- Fluency in Spanish is highly desired.
