Are you an experienced ARRT or Limited License X-Ray Technologist looking for a rewarding opportunity? Physicians Care is seeking dedicated professionals to become part of our dynamic team.
About Physicians Care:
As an affiliate of Urgent Team, we operate 12 locations across Alabama, Georgia, and Tennessee, providing high-quality family healthcare in more than 80 facilities. Our walk-in centers offer a wide array of services including treatment for injuries and illnesses, occupational health, and wellness care. We are open seven days a week, ensuring convenient access to care.
Key Responsibilities:
Please note that these are the general duties associated with the role, and additional tasks may be assigned.
- Conduct timely radiology procedures for physician assessment and treatment.
- Implement quality control measures to guarantee high-standard exams.
- Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, adhering to clinical and regulatory safety measures, including radiation protection protocols.
- Maintain equipment functionality and promptly report any issues to the Area Manager or on-duty provider.
- Follow documentation protocols and complete necessary records related to patient visits.
- Commit to continuous improvement of diagnostic imaging skills through external educational resources.
- Ensure current licensure and certification for operating facility radiology equipment.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- BLS Certification.
- TN State X-Ray License.
- ARRT Certification preferred.
- Experience as a Medical Assistant is a plus.
