Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology role requiring a DC RN license, IR acute care experience, and advanced certifications.

Responsibilities

• Position is in the Interventional Radiology department in a hospital setting
• Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:30AM to 5PM, with night and weekend call requirements
• Position requires a 13-week contract with 10-hour shifts and 40 hours per week
• Care includes neuro and stroke patients within the IR setting
• Cerner EMR experience is required
• Delivers comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Interventional Radiology unit
• Performs initial and ongoing patient assessments, including neuro and stroke evaluations
• Documents all assessments and interventions according to hospital policy
• Provides age-appropriate care across the lifespan as needed in IR
• Night and weekend call participation is mandatory for this role

Requirements

• Active, in-hand DC RN license with no restrictions
• Minimum of 2 years IR acute care experience in a US hospital required
• AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 3 years of Interventional Radiology experience is preferred
• Neuro stroke care experience required
• Cerner charting system experience required
• CPI certification mandated by position
• Must provide references, including at least one from the most recent employer
• Candidates must live at least 25 miles from the facility to be eligible as travelers
• US Social Security Number required for consideration
