Duties
- Analyze rights and obligations under insurance policies and draft coverage opinions.
- Conduct legal research and draft memoranda.
- Prepare and analyze pleadings, discovery, motions, and legal correspondence.
- Meet and confer with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties.
- Attend depositions, hearings, and mediations.
- Manage matters, deadlines, and client communication proactively.
Requirements
- Excellent academic credentials.
- Admitted to practice in California, Nevada, Oregon, or Washington, with emphasis on California.
- Experience in insurance coverage and coverage litigation.
- Strong legal research, writing, and oral communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and time-sensitive matters.
- Effective problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.
Education
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
Certifications
- Bar admission in relevant state(s).
