Real Estate Associate Attorney

Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Full-Time Real Estate Associate Lawyer to handle legal aspects of residential and commercial real estate transactions. Under the supervision of senior partners, you will deliver client-focused solutions in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, including purchase agreements, leases, mortgages, and financing contracts.
• Conduct due diligence, including title reviews, zoning analysis, and survey evaluations, to ensure transaction compliance.
• Advise clients on real estate matters, such as acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and disputes.
• Represent clients in real estate litigation, including landlord-tenant disputes and contract breaches, when necessary.
• Collaborate with real estate agents, brokers, and title companies to facilitate smooth closings.
• Stay updated on federal, state, and local real estate regulations and market trends.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active Bar admission in good standing in any U.S. state (or pending admission).
• 2–5 years of experience in real estate law preferred; new graduates with relevant internships considered.
• Strong knowledge of real estate laws, including zoning, land use, and property rights.
• Excellent research, drafting, and negotiation skills; proficiency with tools like LexisNexis or Westlaw.
• Ability to manage a full-time caseload with strong organizational and communication skills.
• Familiarity with real estate technology and CRM platforms is a plus.
