Order Entry Specialist
As an Order Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for managing inbound and follow-up calls, processing email orders, and ensuring accurate data entry of customer orders. You will play a crucial role in verifying order details, coordinating with the production team, and maintaining customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Answer 4-5 inbound calls daily and make follow-up calls as necessary.
- Process 50-100 email orders daily from a shared inbox.
- Review past orders and customer profiles in the internal database.
- Understand customer needs and enter product details into the internal system.
- Import CAD files and pull necessary materials for orders.
- Verify product details, pricing, and order dates with customers and in the system.
- Confirm order details or challenges with the production team.
- Perform various data entry and administrative tasks related to order processing.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in data entry and customer service.
- Experience in order entry and order processing.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
- 1+ year of customer service experience.
- 6+ months of office experience.
- High School Diploma.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in a manufacturing company is preferred.
- Quick learner with strong initiative.
Work Environment
This is a small, family-owned company with a friendly atmosphere. The office is adjacent to a fairly clean production floor, and employees may need to walk onto the floor occasionally. The position requires in-office work Monday through Friday, from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The company offers a family feel, with opportunities for advancement, catered lunches, and holiday activities.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.50/hr.
