The Customer Service Resolution Specialist handles and resolves customer questions, complaints, patient responsibility balances, and billing inquiries with professionalism and courtesy. This role serves as the primary point of contact for inbound customer inquiries via various communication channels, including fax, mail, email, and phone. The specialist utilizes electronic billing and medical retrieval systems, along with knowledge of medical billing and financial assistance, to resolve guarantor/patient inquiries. The goal is to resolve all patient concerns while maintaining positive relationships and providing excellent service, thereby enhancing patient engagement. This is a part-time, fully on-site position in an office setting.

• Provides financial counseling for uninsured/underinsured patients.
• Analyzes billing processes to determine patient responsibility.
• Resolves patient balances using debt collection techniques.
• Ensures quality customer service and inquiry resolution.
• Performs computerized data entry and other duties as assigned.

Position Compensation Range: $17.65 - $27.36 hourly.

Minimum Requirements

Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent.

Experience: 1 year relevant experience preferred.

Licensure: None required.

Physical Demands

Primarily sedentary work involving extensive use of desktop computers. Occasional travel for meetings and programs.
