Lead Developer

We are seeking an experienced Lead Developer with 8 to 10 years of expertise in OnBase technologies and domain skills in Medicare and Medicaid Claims. The ideal candidate will work in a hybrid model focusing on developing and optimizing OnBase applications to enhance our claims processing systems. This role requires a deep understanding of OnBase Application Enabler Workview API and Workflow as well as a strong background in claims and payer domains.

In this role, you will:

• Lead the development and optimization of OnBase applications to improve claims processing efficiency.
• Oversee the integration of OnBase Application Enabler with existing systems to streamline operations.
• Provide technical expertise in OnBase Workview to design and implement user-friendly interfaces.
• Develop and maintain OnBase API solutions to ensure seamless data exchange across platforms.
• Implement OnBase Workflow solutions to automate and enhance business processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of OnBase solutions with business objectives.
• Analyze and resolve technical issues related to OnBase applications to minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in Medicare and Medicaid claims processing.
• Conduct regular code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Mentor junior developers and share best practices in OnBase development.
• Participate in project planning and provide accurate estimates for development tasks.
• Stay updated with the latest OnBase technologies and industry trends to drive innovation.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.

Work model: Hybrid

Based on this role's business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 2-3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Blaine, MN. What you need to have to be considered:

• Possess strong experience in OnBase Application Enabler Workview API and Workflow.
• Demonstrate expertise in Medicare and Medicaid Claims Claims and Payer domains.
• Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Show proficiency in hybrid work environments and effective communication skills.
• Have a proven track record of successful project delivery in a similar role.
• Display the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Hold a relevant degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Applications will be accepted until October 12th, 2025. The annual salary for this position is between $97,000 - $114,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
