This role is ideal for an attorney with 3–6 years of experience and a strong interest in shareholder engagement, activism, corporate governance, securities law, and mergers & acquisitions. Duties

Advise clients on shareholder activism and corporate governance matters

Handle transactions involving public and private mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures

Provide counsel on securities law compliance and capital markets transactions

Draft and negotiate transaction documents and regulatory filings

Collaborate with cross-functional teams across practice groups

Analyze legal risks and develop strategic solutions for complex transactional issues

Requirements

3–6 years of relevant legal experience in securities, M&A, or corporate law

Proven ability to manage complex transactions independently or as part of a team

Strong interest in corporate governance and shareholder engagement

Excellent attention to detail and legal judgment

Comfortable working in a high-performance, fast-paced legal environment

Education

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited, top-tier law school

Certifications

Admitted to practice law in California

Skills

Deep knowledge of securities regulations, M&A deal structures, and corporate governance
