Job Details
Compensation Pay Range: $22.05 - $25.55. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes annual, quarterly performance, or premiums that may vary based on specific circumstances.
Job Responsibilities:
- Unload different types of merchandise from Ozark route trucks and place them in designated staging areas.
- Verify unloads by matching with the driver's manifest.
- Assist in wrapping, loading, and shipping outbound merchandise.
- Scan and inspect returned merchandise for accuracy based on the store manifest.
- Sort and stack checked-in rebuilt core and warranty items neatly into designated areas.
- Follow proper staging, cut-off, auditing, and shipping procedures.
- Prepare and sort new merchandise for shipment to appropriate zones.
- Maintain inventory levels and order boxes for specific lines.
- Process and maintain warranty merchandise in appropriate vendor bins.
- Coordinate warranty paperwork with vendor representatives.
- Dispose of HazMat chemicals and oil according to company policy.
- Handle all aspects of recalls, changeovers, stocklifts, and non-stock merchandise.
- Manage tag shelf and collaborate with sales regarding demo, used, and loaner equipment, including credits and shipping.
- Test and process warranty batteries and maintain monthly reporting.
- Keep work areas clean and follow safety standards.
- Act as a trainer for new team members, ensuring effective training and documentation are complete.
- Complete any other assigned duties as needed.
Required Skills:
- Ability to quickly and accurately read and match numerical and alphabetical characters.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Basic computer skills.
Desired Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Understanding of automotive warehouse or store operations.
- Familiarity with automotive parts and advanced computer skills.
- Fluency in multiple languages, especially Spanish.
