Join our team as a Materials Handler, where your main responsibility will be to efficiently pull parts from pick tickets and prepare them for shipment. We value accuracy and speed in fulfilling our commitment to excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive orders from stores and pull parts quickly and accurately.
- Transport parts to the city counter for timely distribution.
- Manage back orders and surplus orders, ensuring timely communication with designated team members.
- Collaborate with drivers to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Maintain neat and legible logs and inspect boxes for damage to ensure part integrity.
- Keep your workspace clean and safe while adhering to safety standards.
- Document alternative locations for parts and submit logs daily for updates.
- If experienced, take on a trainer role, overseeing the training program and assisting new team members.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Ability to read, write, and interpret labels and order instructions accurately.
- Flexibility to work varied schedules and basic computer skills.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a collaborative environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Experience with three-wheel buggies and previous picking experience.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations.
- Advanced computer skills.
- Fluency in multiple languages, particularly Spanish.
