Become a valued member of our team as a Behavioral Health Specialist at Lancaster Family Health Center!
In this role, you will provide essential behavioral health services to clients with complex or chronic needs within a primary care setting. Whether you are a PsyD/PhD clinical psychologist or an independently licensed Master's-level mental health therapist, you will work collaboratively to integrate these services into comprehensive care plans guided by primary care providers.

Position Highlights:
- Clinical Psychologist:
- $9,000 hiring bonus paid in the first paycheck.
- $110,700 yearly compensation.
- Master's-level Independently Licensed Therapist:
- $4,500 hiring bonus paid in first paycheck, $1,800 bonus after 12 months.
- $92,250 yearly compensation.
- Relocation assistance is available.
- 0.9 FTE (36 hours, Monday-Thursday).

- Provide on-site behavioral health services in a primary care clinic.
- Consult with providers to enhance the primary care of patients.
- Serve as the primary mental health provider or ancillary health provider as required.
- Assist care teams with diagnoses and interventions using contextual and relational perspectives.
- Collaborate across disciplines to ensure equitable, biopsychosocial-spiritual care.
- Utilize evidence-based literature for informed decision-making and health behavior navigation.
- Engage with interdisciplinary teams on treatment plans and patient advocacy.
- Conduct training for staff and community organizations as requested.
- Develop research-related funding proposals.
- Partner with providers to triage referrals.
- Provide backup coverage for other providers as needed.
- Perform clinical responsibilities in accordance with relevant accreditation and association standards.
- Participate in program development and new initiatives relating to Behavioral Health.
Clinical Psychologist:
- Education: Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) or Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology.
- Experience Preferred: One year’s clinical experience in a multidisciplinary team within primary care.
- Licenses/Registration: Licensed Psychologist in the applicable state. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 45 days of hire.
Master's Level Therapist:
- Education: Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
- Experience Required: Two years of postgraduate experience in direct treatment for mental illness under supervision.
- Licenses/Certificates/Registration: BLS certification required within 45 days of hire and one of the following licenses must be obtained within one week of hire:
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not mandatory.
