Job Overview: A prominent law firm is seeking a Mergers & Acquisitions Associate with 3-5 years of experience to work on complex transactions in the technology and life sciences sectors. The successful candidate will play a key role in public and private company mergers and acquisitions, as well as other strategic transactions. Responsibilities include drafting transaction agreements, managing due diligence, and coordinating with clients and legal teams to ensure successful deal execution.

Location:

Key Duties:

• Serve as a key associate on M&A transactions
• Draft and review definitive transaction agreements
• Oversee due diligence processes and disclosure letters
• Coordinate with subject matter experts throughout transactions
• Manage client relationships and provide legal support during deals
• Ensure efficient handling of all aspects of strategic transactions

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in M&A or strategic transactions
• Experience drafting agreements and managing deal processes as an associate
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with clients and colleagues

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active Bar membership in New York, California, or Washington, or eligibility for admission
