nDelaware North's Patina Group is hiring full-time Line Cooks to join our team at Space 220 in Orlando, Florida. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing dishes according to recipes and the chef's specifications. nWhat will you do?

- n
Properly measure, portion, and cook all food items promptly, and make sure to taste all the dishes prepared.
n n - n
Ensure that correct food temperatures are maintained and that food is stored safely
n n - n
Perform opening, closing, and side work duties according to proper guidelines
n n - n
Keep the workstation and equipment clean, organized, and sufficiently stocked
n n - n
Use waste control guidelines and record all waste on the spoilage sheet
n n
More about you

Minimum of 1 year of experience as a line cook in a high-paced restaurant environment or Fine dining establishment.
n n - n
Must have basic knowledge of kitchen equipment functions (blenders, robo coupe, deli slicer, steam kettle)
n n - n
Must understand Food Safety Standards (Temperature danger zone, food storage hierarchy, FIFO, Time as Temperature).
n n - n
Ability to read, write in English, and communicate with other team members, and properly inform the chef.
n n - n
Ability to move rapidly and coordinate multiple orders
n n - n
Ability to follow procedures and take directions
n n - n
Basic math skills to understand, calculate, and follow recipe measurements and proportions
n n - n
No high school diploma or GED required
n n
Physical requirements

Manual dexterity sufficient to chop, mix, and blend a variety of foods and liquids

Ability to carry large pans, weighing up to 50 pounds, and operate kitchen equipment

Constant standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions

Exposed to variable temperatures
