Overview

Tri-State Construction, Inc. is hiring a Field Project Manager - Residential Construction to join our residential project management team. This full-time position is ideal for someone who enjoys fieldwork, values communication, and thrives on managing multiple tasks and responsibilities. You will assist our construction management leadership with day-to-day operations, project coordination, and client relationships while ensuring high standards in quality, scheduling, and cost control. Salary: $75,000-$95,000+ per year + Year-End Bonus. Location: New Brunswick, NJ (onsite, with site visits required).

Responsibilities

• Support construction manager with project oversight and subcontractor coordination
• Communicate with clients to maintain clear, professional updates
• Coordinate material purchasing, delivery logistics, and scheduling
• Maintain documentation related to project budgets, change orders, and timelines
• Conduct site visits and quality control checks to ensure compliance with project specifications
• Assist with daily project review, jobsite reporting, and management of deliverables
• Track milestones, proactively identify challenges, and contribute to solutions

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in residential construction, field coordination, or project support preferred
• Working knowledge of construction phases, materials, and scheduling
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel, Word, and Outlook)
• Highly organized and punctual with strong attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Valid driver\'s license required; regular site travel is part of this role

Schedule

• Full-Time - Monday through Friday
• 8-10 Hour Day Shifts
• Weekend availability may be required for specific project needs

Location

• Primary base in New Brunswick, NJ, with frequent site visits in Central New Jersey
• Applicants must be able to commute and work onsite
