A client is looking for an Endpoint Engineer to sit hybrid; two days per week onsite in New Haven, CT and three days remote. This person will be responsible for managing and resolving incidents related to SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager) and Intune co-management. They will be spending a majority of their time on incident management, responding to tickets regarding software deployment, patch management, endpoint security and protection, etc. to ensure minimal disruption to end-users. They will also be handling endpoint configuration to maintain SCCM and Intune settings, policies, and profiles to ensure efficient and secure endpoint management. This Engineer will be working closely with IT teams and stakeholders to understand common pain points and strategically diagnose gaps in the integration and operations of SCCM and Intune environments. They will also be making sure to keep technical documentation up to date regarding all endpoint management processes and configurations. This person needs to be comfortable with a payrate in the range of $50-55/hr based on experience level.

Relevant certifications (e. g., Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
Experience working in a Higher Education environment
7-10+ years of experience in endpoint management and IT infrastructure roles
Strong recent experience handling endpoint operations and troubleshooting various incidents
Expertise in Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM), also known as Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM)
Experience with MacOS and iOS device management solutions, using Intune
Knowledge of co-management strategies, combining Intune and SCCM
Strong understanding of endpoint security best practices and standards
Strong communication skills and ability to work well with end users and stakeholders
