Responsibilities
- Standards of Practice: Conduct assessments, develop care plans, implement interventions, and evaluate patient outcomes effectively.
- Standards of Professional Performance: Demonstrate ethical practices, collaborate with colleagues, lead initiatives, and contribute to the quality of nursing practice through continuous education and professional growth.
Qualifications
- Education: Must be a graduate from an accredited nursing school; BSN preferred. Current Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification is required within one month of hire.
- Experience: A minimum of two years of critical care experience is required.
- Licensure: Must be a licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Connecticut.
Physical Demands: This role requires prolonged standing and walking. You will need to assist patients weighing between five to three hundred pounds and may experience exposure to infectious diseases and emotional challenges. It is essential to handle physical, mental, and emotional demands effectively.
