Development Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Development Associate to join our growing real estate development team in Nashville, TN , with a specialized focus on Medical Office properties . This role is ideal for candidates with 2 to 4 years of experience in real estate development, healthcare real estate, or related fields who are looking to deepen their expertise in the medical office sector.

• Support the end-to-end development process for medical office projects, including site selection, due diligence, entitlement, design, construction, and delivery.
• Assist in market research and site feasibility analysis to identify strategic development opportunities.
• Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective project execution.
• Prepare and maintain project budgets, schedules, and development pro formas.
• Participate in lease negotiations and tenant coordination for healthcare providers and medical groups.
• Monitor regulatory and zoning requirements specific to healthcare and medical office developments.
• Prepare investment memoranda and presentations for internal stakeholders and capital partners.
• Track and report on project progress, risks, and milestones.
  

• Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, Urban Planning, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in real estate development, preferably with exposure to medical office or healthcare-related projects.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling and Excel.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Familiarity with Nashville's real estate market and healthcare landscape is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  

• Experience working with healthcare systems, physician groups, or medical tenants.
• Knowledge of entitlement processes and healthcare-specific building codes.
• Exposure to real estate investment analysis and capital markets.
