We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aerospace Forge Production Engineer to join our advanced manufacturing team at a leading aerospace manufacturing company. This pivotal role encompasses developing and supporting process solutions, optimizing production processes, reducing wastage, and ensuring superior quality products. Salary: $72,000 - $100,000 per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop process solutions for optimizing forge production workflows.
- Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify areas for reduction in scrap and improvement in first pass yield.
- Implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance throughput and product quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical production issues, ensuring stable and efficient production operations.
- Provide expert-level data acquisition and analysis to support decision-making processes and production optimization.
- Lead and mentor teams in project-based settings, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous development.
- BS in Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional engineering experience in Foundry or Forging environments.
- Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder.
- Strong foundation in continuous improvement processes and Kaizen methodologies.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues.
- Broad knowledge of forge production technologies and equipment.
- Professional engineering certification is considered a plus.
- Type of degree: MS in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering is preferred.
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis and process modeling software.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple teams and stakeholders.
