Wireless Technician
Key Role: Fabricate, repair, and maintain electronics systems and equipment. Create prototypes based on schematics, engineering drawings, complex manuals, and other technical documentation. Apply basic principles, theories, and concepts and limited industry knowledge. Solve routine problems of limited scope and complexity. Refer more complex issues to higher levels. Work under direct supervision.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience with troubleshooting wireless LAN systems
- Experience installing, configuring, and testing with Aruba and Cisco wireless network solutions
- Experience in Aruba 8.x deployments, including ClearPass and Airwave
- Experience in conducting site surveys for wireless and wired networks to assess and analyze data from Ekahau and AirMagnet software suites
- Knowledge of system integration and rack design
- Secret clearance
- HS diploma or GED and 4+ years of experience as a wireless technician, or Associate's degree and 2+ years of experience as a wireless technician
Additional Qualifications:
- Knowledge of electrical power and HVAC design
- Knowledge of computer systems and network engineering
- Ability to use electronic test equipment

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $52,900.00 to $108,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
