Seeking a Warehouse Manager for a global materials company supplying the maritime industry.
This opportunity will report to the GM and have a direct impact on SOP's and strategic operational function of this 35,000+ sq ft site.
Seeking a motivated warehouse professional who is organized and willing to accept the challenge of growing out this location as business continues to increase.
Job Title: Warehouse / Shipping Manager
Location: Houston, South East - Hobby Airport Area

What's the Job?
- Logistics Management:
- Oversee receiving, storage, and dispatch of mooring lines, rigging equipment, and safety gear, ensuring traceability and adherence to maritime safety standards
- Coordinate with global supply chain teams to manage stock levels and meet project deadlines for maritime clients
- Implement warehouse layouts to maximize space utilization for bulky or irregularly shaped maritime equipment
- Safety & Compliance:
- Enforce strict safety protocols for handling heavy machinery (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) and hazardous materials
- Ensure compliance with international standards
- Team Leadership:
- Train and supervise warehouse staff on product knowledge, operational efficiency, and safety procedures
- Schedule shifts and allocate tasks to meet high-volume demands during peak shipping seasons
- Equipment & Reporting:
- Maintain warehouse tools and machinery, including routine inspections and repairs
- Generate reports on inventory accuracy, order fulfillment rates, and incident logs Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience:
- 5+ years in warehouse management, preferably in industrial, or heavy-equipment sectors
- Familiarity with mooring systems, synthetic fibre ropes, or related maritime products is a big plus
