Join our dedicated team as a Respiratory Therapist specializing in Neonatal Intensive Care. In this rewarding role, you will provide essential respiratory care for premature and critically ill newborns, ensuring their delicate breathing needs are met with exceptional skill and compassion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer oxygen therapy, ventilator support, and various respiratory treatments tailored for neonates in the NICU.
- Monitor vital signs closely, adjusting respiratory support as needed in response to the infant’s condition.
- Work collaboratively with neonatologists and NICU staff to create personalized care plans for each patient.
- Conduct diagnostic tests, including blood gas analysis, to assess lung function and overall respiratory health.
- Educate and support parents on respiratory equipment and techniques, ensuring readiness for discharge when appropriate.
- Maintain precise documentation of treatments and track patient progress meticulously.
Work Environment:
