ARRT (CT) BLS Florida State DOH License Description: Unit Information: Number of Beds - 24 Number of Staff - 14 Type of Staff: Radiologist, radiology techs, ultrasound techs, MRI techs, CT techs Day Shift Director, Radiologist, 6-7 techs Night Shift Charge RN, On-call team, 3-4 techs, varies on volume Patient Ratios 1:1, 1:2, depending on stability of patient Type of Equipment: All GE Equipment, MRI Units, scanners, cameras, x-ray, fluoroscopy EMR: Meditech Call Requirements: Yes, 4-6 shifts a month (on off day) Typical hiring profile: Most recruited for: Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters Strongly prefer experience with GE and Meditech List of typical procedures performed on unit: CT Scan MRI Body Scanner X-Rays Create pictures of bones, organs, tissues and combine to create accurate picture assessment Best Personality Fit: Communication skills Medical and anatomical skills Mechanical aptitude Ability to multi-task Ability to work with variety of physicians, radiologists, and patients Dress Code: Scrub Color: Black Must provide their own General Information: 472-bed acute care medical/surgical facility and healthcare complex specializing in cardiovascular care, neuroscience, oncology services, orthopedics and bariatrics as well as women's services.
